While shopping for my husband for Christmas I was looking for a specific style of mirror. Every HD dealership in Maryland was sold out and did not expect shipment until after Christmas. My time was running out. A saleswoman from the dealership in Frederick MD did a little research for me and found that your dealership possibly had the part I was looking for. When I called Mr Dave Villeneuve answered and was extremely helpful. He confirmed that he had the item I was looking for in stock and would ship it out to me that day in order for me to get it before Christmas. I received the item within two days of the order. My husband was elated. I know this may sound like a simple purchase but when you can't find a specific item you want to surprise a loved one with at Christmas it becomes very disheartening. Dale Yutzy and his crew did a marvelous job getting my Kawasaki ATV running again. I was concerned they would not take it, being largely a Polaris and Harley-Davidson dealership. It had a problem starting in cold weather. They quickly diagnosed the problem which cost me a lot less than I expected. Later I asked if they could do a MD vehicle inspection on a used trailer, and Dale did the job personally, with great advice and timely response. Dale and his crew are amazing - I could see the care they took in their other customers too - that's loving care!

I had a wonderful experience at highland everyone was very helpful at helping me find a bike. I love stoping by and looking around for the new inventory that they have. When you walk in the they know who you are it would be nice that all dealerships where like that!!!!!.

Back in 2010, I purchased my first Polaris high performance machine, the 850 XP EPS in Stealth Black at the Highland Harley Davidson Shop in LaVale, MD. My experience there was fantastic. Always greeted at the front door by someone, usually Ms. Dee, and continuing to make my way to the parts counter, making contact with Ms. Jackie, Donald, or my sales rep Dan Semler. Often times seeing Service Manager Dale, and Virgil in the back staying busy, too. These wonderful people make you feel right at home, like family. After almost 2 years passing, I recently made another purchase, the Ranger 800 XP EPS Browning LE. Once again, same friendly greetings, professionalism, and treated with the best customer service you can imagine. I really want to say thanks to Dan Semler, who sold me both machines. He worked diligently for me making sure I got exactly what I wanted. That means a lot. Thanks again, as I look forward to many future trips for the purpose of decking out my new Ranger with Pure Polaris parts.

It is hard to find words to describe my experience with Highland. I have always had sportbikes and purchased my first Harley off of a friend. Since then it has been serviced at Highland, bought assesories, and now I am a proud member of their chapter. I have never had the service that Highland employees provide. In 2000 on a visit from Texas,walked in to Highland HD to to buy a shirt.Walked out with a new ULTRA.Have returned every year since for a new Ultra and a shirt. I was stranded on another brand motorcycle. The local dealer was not able to replace a tire. I had met John the previous evening waiting for a tow truck at the service plaza. He told me if I got stranded to call him and he would see that I got on my way. The Brand "X" dealer was trying to talk me into riding my bike with the aired up tire to another place for replacement. John said not to ride it and he would come get us. Upon arrival the the HD store and seeing a new Road King I liked on the floor i traded in my old bike and left to continue my way to Rolling Thunder on my new HD Road King. Thanks so much. Last week I had the pleasure of coming across your dealership when my purple Road King lost its shifter and spline assembly on I-68 while attending the East Coast Sturgis rally. This was the best HD experience I ever had in terms of promptness, helpfullness and professionalism. The young lady (Vicky or Jackie) who answered the phone was the same young lady who came out with Bob to tow my bike back to the dealership. I was in and out within 30-40 minutes and the fees for the service and parts were more than fair and at least 1/2 of what they would have been in my home town of York, PA. This was my first year for this rally but definitely not my last and knowing a dealership like yours is close by is one of the many reasons. Again, Thanks to Vicky/Jackie and Bob. They are a credit to the organization.

I have purchased several bikes from Highland and wouldn't consider buying from anyone else. There are two other dealerships that are closer, one I ride straight past to get to Highland. They have a great showroom with a great selection, friendly workers, a fantastic service department, and helpful mechanics that will actually talk to you and answer your questions. These guys really know how to treat their customers. Keep up the good work.

I have been in a "struggle" with another dealer to get simple repair... I needed 'all" the parts (hardware) to mount a NEW rear fender for my 2007 Softail... after more trips than I want to count and order after order (still not correct)... I found out you had the key piece I was missing... YOU shipped it overnight... and I will be riding this weekend... Hats off to Dee.

We were heading home last week from a wonderful motorcycle trip to Myrtle Beach. We had been away for 2 weeks and had traveled through many States and wonderful roadways and mountain twisties. We were about 5 miles west of Garret County on I68 when the unthinkable happened. Our 2000 FLHTC went from an instant sway to an uncontrolable full side to side motion. The bike finally came to a stop and after my wife pried my white knuckles off the bars we had realized that we had experienced a rear tire blowout at 65 mph. The tire was only 2 weeks old but it became apparent later that we had picked up some sort of road hazzard leaving a hole the size of the tip of a pinky finger in the tire. A phone call to AAA led us to a towtruck and the phone number of your shop at 1285 National Highway in LaVale. I called a gentleman named Dale in the service department and he told me that the shop closed at 4:00 and it was allready after 3:00. Dale said that they would keep the shop open for us and get us back on the road and not have to wait till Monday for tire repairs , as it was Saturday afternoon. WOW , talk about above and beyond, but it gets even better. After about 45 minutes no truck had showed up, I called Dale to express my frustration and was hoping he was still with us on the wait thing. He not only was, but had arranged for a truck and trailer to come and get us. While on the phone AAA called and said that the truck was close. We passed on the truck and trailer and eventually made our to the shop. New tire and nothing but courtious respectful service had us back on the road by 6:30. It seemed to us like this type of service was an everyday thing for these guys. No big deal for Bob (service tech) and Dale. I thanked them and commented how great it was for them to do this for us. Dale just said that we hope someone would do the same for us one day if we needed help.Thanks Bob and Dale .

Good afternoon, I just wanted to say thank you for all of the support that you provide to the Americas 9/11 Foundation every year. I am a survivor of the attack on the twin towers in NYC. I was in Tower 2 when it was hit by the second plane. My 2010 Electra Glide Classic has the NY plate TOWER 2. I have participated in the ride since 2003. This year I am serving as an Associate Member of the Board. Each year you open your doors and your hearts to greet all of us who ride for this wonderful cause. I`ve been shopping for a good used bike for approxmately a year and have been to several dealerships in PA., MD., WV., and VA. I`ve been disrespected, snubbed, and totally ignored at most of the other dealerships. But at Highland in LaVale MD. has went above and beyond in customer service and was able to help me find and get the bike I wanted. Jackie, Dan, Keegan, Don, Dale and Dee, they dont just treat you like another sale, they treat you like a friend. They have made buying a bike fun and enjoyable experience. I heard about Highland from a friend that had bought his last few bikes from their Somerset dealership. After hearing how well they treated him I decided to give them a call and see what they had to offer. Jay and John at Highland went above and beyond my expectations. They gave me the best trade (I called 4 other Harley dealers closer to me) and I could tell it was about more than just a sale to them.
